Happy New Year! For the first update of 2007, I figured I'd give a trail condition report. The trails are MUDDY!!! Now is the worst time to be in the Fells. This goes for everyone.

Due to a set of rules that is completely biased against mountain bikers, the current 'Winter Ban' in the Fells only applies to bikes. However it is equally irresponsible for all trail users to be on the trails at this point. Wait for the mud to dry up!
