What are the Rock Piles?

Strange rock formations that you can find throughout the Fells. But don't get too excited, there's no mysterious forces at work, just some people who like to stack rocks. Some of these designs are fairly interesting. Most of them seem to appear on, or close to the Skyline Trail.

A strange half ring of rock just off the Skyline Trail, East of Middle Rd
